Funding History & Sources for the 33 Hawley Street Project
The Arts Trust acquired 33 Hawley in October 2013 with funds that were donated and loaned by members of the Board of Directors. Soon after the acquisition, we began planning a Capital Campaign to raise funds to renovate the property and applied for grants to fund the early stages of design and construction. Our community came through for us, with support from local, state and federal governments, private foundations, other institutions and many, many individual donors. The following aggregates major donations (for our purposes, that means $10,000 and greater) by year. For a detailed breakdown of major grants, visit this page.
